We had a great quail hunting season. Thanks to all guests…we had a wonderful time with you and hope you enjoyed your stay at Davis Quail Hunts as much as we enjoyed having you. We hope to see you again this coming fall and winter!

Mazie handles the bird dogs off horseback. Dogs at DQH really go hunting! When the dogs point birds, Mazie raises her cap and the hunting party is brought to the dog’s find. No need to rush though…dogs at DQH are broke and will wait till the shooters arrive, holding the birds mesmerized. When the shooters go in, the pointing dogs remain steady to flush, shot and finally the retrieve by one of the cocker spaniels.
