DQH May Barbecue!
We hosted the first of which will be an annual barbecue for our patrons on Saturday, May 8th. A nice crowd attended and a great time was certainly had by all! The allure of hunting for arrowheads, shark teeth, and fossils certainly kept the youngsters busy. The crowd enjoyed fishing, target shooting, and clay shooting but the fellowship was by far the best thing….well, besides the food! Team members, Marcia Davis, Sherman Hooks, and Elsie Davis had as much fun themselves as they had entertaining our guests. DQH is very appreciative of our patrons and all the new friendships we made in our first year of business. We are looking forward to seeing you all again this coming season for more great quail, pheasant and turkey hunting!

Davis Kennels Summer Training on the Canadian Prairies
As summer approaches, we will once again be getting ready for our annual trip to our camp in Manitoba to train our string of field trial dogs, Davis Quail Hunt dogs and our clients’ personal hunting dogs. We take a limited number of bird dogs to Canada each summer. If you are interested in this great opportunity for your dog, please contact us soon as we generally are booked very quickly. This will make it much easier for our clients to book their hunts as we are not always readily available to take your calls…because, of course, we are busy quail, pheasant or turkey hunting!!
